Flying Away

The open window

saved the bird

from the prison

in which he found himself

while the children

thought on violins

contemplating

on how they could reach

their world of dreams

travelling on musical notes

that had recently escaped

the merry go round

if only for a moment

before the equalisation

of fractions

and obtuse angles

restructured

 their day

The bird…

flew away

  1. yeah – freedom for the birds….feel always sorry for them when they kept prison in small cages…beautiful poem with an airy feel of liberation…nice
