One Minute

One minute

That’s all it takes to remember

One minute, on one day, only once a year

One lousy minute of silence, to remember those

That in one minute lost their lives, or will lose their lives

From one bullet, in one lousy war

That’s all they ask of us…one minute of our lives

For in one minute, one soldier may never see another Christmas…

So go on…laugh through the last post as you decide whether or not to buy

The cheaper or dearer Christmas lights for your front yard… laugh knowing that your

Christmas is secure because of those soldiers, every one of them who lost their lives

In one minute, one day, on one battlefield for one person…you!
