Morning Ballet

Gold flecks of morning

glisten within the forest of dreams

branches breathing melodies

through radiant mists

an emerging symphony

unfolds the world

a black swan to white

delicately pirouetting

through to the next movement of time

a carousel

passing choreography

that will never dance

the same way again

  1. I really like this; very creative expression. These are my favorites:

    “Gold flecks of morning
glisten within the forest of dreams”

    “an emerging symphony
    unfolds the world”

    “passing choreography
    that will never dance
    the same way again”

  2. Your words really capture nicely the way things come and quickly disappear. This is put well in the following lines:

    a carousel
    passing choreography
    that will never dance
    the same way again

Indeed, there’s so much to learn and live with that awareness foremost in mind. Heraclitus talks about all things changing. He also discusses the universal harmony and how its maintained when all things pass away, never to return.
