For dversepoets form for all: La Lune .   On New Years Day my family and I spent the day at Stradbroke Island. It was a wonderfully hot, tiring but beautiful day…so here is a few snapshots. I do hope this stays formatted the way I want it…it always changes when I publish it…so annoying.

  1. these are so fun…love the sight seeing turtle…ha….poor little one in the first…easy to see…the two couples on the cliff with the ice cream was cool too….nicely done….

  2. Oh I so needed this warm reprieve… love the beach. This was my favorite:

    two couples separated by decades

    enjoy ice-cream cones

  3. It’s so nice that someone has summer to write about. All of us northerners have been describing winter in all its chilly finery.

Loved the two couples with ice-cream and the power walker.

  4. These are my favorites:

Such a great image–old and young should always make the time to enjoy ice cream, especially when on the cliff’s edge.

  6. You were inspired! As others have commented, your excursion into warmer climes is a welcome reprieve from the other winter poems! You intercalate strong images here, focused as only a haiku-like form can, so an exceptional series of lunes.

  7. …Well inspired series of lunes… And an enjoyable one to read…. The one with couples enjoying ice cream cones was really touching… And…the turtles laughing at tourists…ah, i could join w/ ’em… excellent offering… Smiles…
