Man in the Mirror

I’m used to the man in the mirror

with his evil glint

forever captured in the light

his eye slanting upwards

with his eyebrow

a frown paralleled down

into his own darkness

like his ghostly nose

a wisp of mist swirling on the glass

a tip above where a mouth should be

and yet he is always heard

his reflection always seen

a devil flash

filled with menace

staring out at me

why do unexplained things

creep upon the screen of life

a screaming commentary of torment

on another moment

of judgement

from the man in the mirror

whom I’m used to

but could just as easily

wipe off

  1. a frown paralleled down
into his own darkness…cool description that…and you know, considering the judgement, might be best to wipe him off…or at least give him another script to read from…smiles.
