Dandelion Dream

Business Mens Goodbye by Catrin Welz-Stein

floating away on a dandelion’s memory

of how it all began on bluster soooo

long ago

and landing

where spoken thoughts entrenched themselves

into the dirt and grew

fertilized daily

with shit…

“Get crazy” she said

as if it was easy to revive crazy

after it drowned… and then

just now… it breaks the surface

a ripple to the lip of the world

and hangs on to a thought seed

tossing in the wind

high above

the flat plate

wallow puddle

that catches my reflection

in its undulating smile

Great lines! It isn’t easy to drown crazy either, and crazy is my middle name 😉 Love it!
