A Dandelion’s Poem

Lightly a tiny seed scuttles across skies

taken by the breeze

floating not quite aimlessly

it’s waiting for a landing

a safe place to grow

delicate, beautiful

it falls and makes roots

and when it blooms

once more

this strong weed

disperses magic on a breeze

a tiny sense of freedom

we all cling to

deep in our hearts
