Natural Impression

Nature’s hand paints tranquility

boldy with rigour and wildness

insects create the gentle ripples

the breeze a delicate shiver

sunlight drills through

glazing the canvas

with a delicate light

offering shadows a stage

such stillness in subtle movement

a Monet impression alive and real

each stroke by the hand

of a world left free to roam

reclaiming the folly of man

in such magnificance

and the fine line of rope

like a hangman’s noose

drawn upon it

barely visible

but there

just the same

  1. A beautiful poem and yes, especially the first photo does look like a Monet set naturally into the landscape of nature. Who knows! Perhaps, Monet himself, saw such exquisite beauty which he transformed and captured on his own canvas.
